On Friday, February 28th, Mr. Moses and the Lead Academy Middle School Choir will host a Parent's Night Out! This event is open to all kids ages 5 to 8. The event will run from 4:00 to 9:00 PM. Dinner and snacks will be provided.
When you check in your child, in addition to providing your contact number, we will give you a Remind 101 sign up code so we can keep you updated on the fun! We will also use Remind at check out. Simply let us know you are on the way and we will begin prepping your child for your arrival.
A CPR/AED First aid certified staff member will be on the premises for the entire evening.
Admission is $20 per child in advance, $25 per child at the door with proceeds going to the music department. Space is limited so call the front office to reserve your spot.

Tomorrow, February 7th, Lead Academy will operate on a 2 hour delay along with Greenville County. The building will open at 9:10 and classes will begin at 9:50. Breakfast will not be served but lunch will. The bus route will run exactly two hours later than normal for all stops. No students will be allowed in the building prior to 9:10. We will dismiss at normal time tomorrow. Thank you.
Please be cautious arriving and leaving school. Parts of Mauldin road back towards Mauldin are flooded and closed off. Please be safe and not drive through any standing water.
We apologize for so many updates but we want to make sure everyone is informed. Gears after school will close at 5 today. Please arrange pickup from Gears before 5.

We do have Tornado Warnings in our area and have been under procedures for a tornado warning that include students taking shelter in central hallway locations. Students are safe and we are watching the weather closely for when we can resume daily activities. Please refrain from calling school unless it is an emergency so we can keep our phone lines free for emergencies.
