Some of our kindergarten kids participated in their first field work of the year. Experts from Conestee Park came to teach us about how to care for trees so that we could help mulch some school trees. They also had the chance to get to know one another in crew activities and play some math games. What a great start to the school year! Shout out to Ms. Schneider and our friends at Conestee Park for organizing!

Gears Update: GEARS is looking forward to returning to some type of "normalcy" and serving children on-site at Lead Academy. However, due to the current numbers of COVID-19 cases in Greenville county, GEARS is currently offering virtual academic assistance to 1st -6th grade students. When Lead Academy opens the facility for face-to-face instruction, we will also offer a hybrid model for after school services. If Lead opens two days per week face-to-face and three days virtual, GEARS will be available for face-to-face after school from 2:15 pm - 6:00 pm for the days your child is on campus, and will offer virtual academic assistance on the days they attend school virtually.
