Hello Lead Family, With the start of the 3rd nine weeks, all virtual and hybrid students will be rotating to a NEW RELATED ARTS class. This change will go into effect starting Monday, January 25th, and will potentially last for the entire semester. This will be the ONLY related arts teacher that will assign them work: K5 & 1st Grade: Mr. Keller (PE) and Mr. Moses (Music) 2nd, 3rd*, & 4th Grade: Mrs. Wright (Art) and Ms. Watson (PE) 5th - 8th Grade: Mr. Carpenter (Tech) and Miss L (Spanish) *If you are participating in the 3rd-grade play, you will still receive additional work specific to the role that you play from Mr. Moses. If you have any questions you may reach out to your child's new related arts teacher. Have a great day!

Kindergarten completed a day of service. They read books about Dr Martin Luther King Jr, did projects to help the school and discussed what service meant to each of them. Thanks for serving well kindergarten!

Our elective classes will rotate during this time and students will participate new elective classes. Be on the lookout for information from your teachers. -Report cards will be mailed to all families on January 28. -We have made a change to our policy concerning virtual and in-person request. If you have chosen to be virtual this year regardless of the attendance plan, and you are interested in in-person instruction, please fill out this form to be placed on a waiting list for a possible 1 to 1 switch. We were informed today that a student tested positive for COVID 19 in 1st grade. Out of an abundance of caution, 1st grade students will be quarantined for 14 days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to keep all stakeholders safe. We continue to encourage all parents to temperature scan and monitor students closely for any sign of potential illness. Students should remain at home if they are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, new or persistent cough, headache, loss of taste or smell, fatigue and/or stomach issues (diarrhea). • Reopening Plan o Our reopening plan will continue this week as it currently stands. Grades K-2 in-person and 3-8 fully virtual • Progress reports o Progress reports will be mailed to all families on Friday December, 18 • Immunizations o If we are missing your child’s immunization records, a notice will be sent along with your progress reports. South Carolina state law requires a valid SC Certificate of Immunization or valid exemption. Children without a valid certificate or exemption will not be allowed to attend school. This is required of all virtual and in-person students. • Survey o This week, there will be a parent survey sent to all families to gain feedback on schooling during COVID.
