ciprofloxacin (excluding Ciprofloxacin XR)

penicillin VK and.

sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (SMZ-TMP)

** UPDATE Regarding student Flu Shots**

DHEC will be here on November 12th to administer Flu Vaccine; for the students absent that day, a "make-up" day is scheduled for December 16th.

**Parents, it is suggested that you dress your child in easy pull up sleeves on this date, to allow this process to go as smoothly as possible.

  • Flu Season is approaching and The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is working with our school district to provide flu shots at your child’s school this fall. It is important that all children get vaccinated every year.

If you would like your child to get a flu shot at school:

Go to http://www.scdhec.gov/slvcconsent using your smartphone, computer or tablet and enter [14701036] as your validation code.

If your child does not receive the flu shot at school, please contact your child’s healthcare provider or health department to get the flu shot.

  • 7th grade parents

If your student received a letter regarding Immunization, the due date is quickly approaching. Please be sure to submit the requested information by Sept 25,2019.

  • Reminder….

The Health Office will no longer be supplying over the counter medications, such as, Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Tums, Benadryl, anti-itch creams, etc

If you feel your student will be in need of any of these items, please fill out the Non-Prescription Medication form and bring the medication in to the Health Office with your students name on it. (Form is available in the Health Office if parents are unable to download)
